Paik Ling – Thanks! The kids’ excitement over the birthday cake and candles were *really* funny to watch but your comment got me thinking, “I wonder what it’ll be like if we celebrated my birthday without cake???”

I should try that next year – I’m sure Hubby will say, “Write it down and sign a contract that YOU didn’t want a birthday cake. My husband DID NOT forget a birthday cake” hahahaha

Paik Ling – I can’t face them 24/7 either, which is why I went back to work last year So not proud of that actually…

Thank God my job is pretty flexi that I can be with her a few hours about 3 days a week but it’s not enough. The havoc at home just isn’t worth it.

I *will* miss my work and Hubby has given strict instructions that I do SOMETHING. I definitely will since both kiddos will be in school soon hahaha

Oh yeah, the kids will definitely laugh their heads off when they read of how they:
a) threw balls, bread, books, a spatula and toys off the balcony and watched mould grow on the bread and

b) made one of the maids sit on the kitchen floor, depressed and on the verge of tears!!!

Happy belated birthday!! Awww it sounds like a good day actually. As good as it can be for a working mum *winks* The most important part of the day was at the end, when your family is with you to celebrate that special day (with or without cake/card).
