a) Who are you?
I am a mother. I am a media specialist. I am an English teacher.

I come from a multicultural background and speak English, Hokkien, Cantonese, basic Spanish, basic German and picking up Putonghua (Mandarin)!

I am a traveller and short of Australia and the Antartica, I’ve been to at least one country in each of the other 5 continents.

I have worked with people from almost EVERY nationality imaginable? Quite exciting experiences!

I love Nature and am committed in mind and deed towards preventing it from slipping further away from our fingers (happy if you will join me!) but as far as the outdoors is concerned, I’m only as brave as Tigger below…

b) What is this blog about?
As a working Mum with heavy workload, long hours and frequent travel, I blogged weekly updates of my pregnancy, monthly updates of my baby’s development until now…

Now that I’m a work@home Mum, I want to share my experiences with other new Mums and make modern motherhood the fulfilling, enriching and rewarding (and of course, hair-tearing, teeth-gritting) adventure I have found it to be :-)

I also do product reviews, some of which are sponsored. A cautious shopper, I am always on the look out for BUDGET-FRIENDLY, PRACTICAL and ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY products. Hope my thoughts will help you too.

Topics that I blog fall under:

  1. being pregnant (have you seen my month-by-month records?),

    2. breastfeeding

  2. having a child, raising a toddler and guiding a preschooler
  3. product reviews - equipment, toys, books, VCDs etc for Mother and baby

c) What is your philosophy?
I believe in a sensible, wholesome and holistic approach to bring up a child. Together with his father, we will do our best (within our means and mental abilities) to give him the best start in life, all in moderate measures.

I believe in God. I believe in love. I believe in family and friendship. I believe in diversity. I believe in common sense. I believe in doing the best YOU can!
