I have definitely experienced the benefits of “babywearing” with my second baby, many thanks to this deliciously soft sarong sling.
The Baby Loft Luscious Silk sarong sling has served me well:
- to soothe my baby when she was 2 months old. Without this sarong sling, I’d never have gotten anything done at home! She’d cry and cry when woken up by noises around the house but once she’s in the sarong sling, no noise wakes her up
- to allow me to go out to public places e.g. shopping! When she was awake, she would peep curiously out of the sarong sling. While asleep, well, she’s sleeping soundly. The dark material is really helpful as it blocks out the sun and bright lights. I will miss slinging my sleeping baby…I sure attracted a lot of attention when I used it at shopping malls – women and girls would point out:
“So cute! See the baby inside there…” (Men would just smile. Hmm…I don’t think “cute” is in their vocabulary LOL).
- to travel. Yup, my little baby has been to quite a number of places all thanks to this sarong sling. It’s so versatile that it allows me to tend to the toddler or the luggage while she’s safely and securely in my arms. I don’t have to worry about people grabbing her away either…
- to breastfeed in public (almost!) I did try to do it once with Hubby blocking the way but the little girl is so wriggly and so easily distracted by the movements and noises around her, I had to go to a breastfeeding room and nurse her quietly.
I never knew that I’d love babywearing so much but I do! And I hope that you’ll try it too…

wei, selling all the stuffs, ta pau already la??
Wen – Hahaha, it’s obvious, isn’t it? Seriously, we have NO space at home anymore! Selling a lot of items at good price.
Hi,
I’m new in babywearing and am interested in getting your ring sling. Just wondering if you still have the manual for this item on how to wear/use it?
Joey – No, the manual/CD is definitely lost in space LOL However, there are lots of free guides online that show you how to wear one correctly IF you have a good quality ring sling.
I’ve seen some poor quality ring slings in action
- tough to slide the material through the ring slings
- sarong sling starts to slip through the ring sling when baby is in it (so dangerous!!!)
This far, I’ve been really happy with this ring sling…
Sure no #3 in your plan?
A Mom’s Diary – Who knows but with a diving baby (yes, bad influence from the brother!!!) and a MAD brother, it’s definitely NO for now LOL
